about

My projects are all about how technology can improve the world we live in

I can talk about sustainability, the dangers of pollution, digitalisation, cleantech technologies, and energy alternatives and their importance.

I know how to create a hardware projects, how to pitch at conferences or to investors, how to lead a team, and be a founder of a successful company, and I love to share my knowledge and experiences.

I’m always open to discussing new projects and events. Please contact me at:

Sustainability planning seminars

I run seminars on company sustainability planning: why measure emissions and how to do it.

In recent years, we have seen an increasing positive trend: companies want to be more environmentally friendly, bring more value, and minimize damage to the environment. I teach how to create measurement indicators that will allow you to measure the emission of a company of any size. I will talk about what factors should be taken into account when evaluating the performance of a company or project: from the number of employees and the way they get to the office, ending with the peculiarities of logistics.

You will learn how to build your sustainability roadmap and integrate it into your business and marketing plans, and why it is important for your company, customers, investors, and partners.

About me

Tatsiana Zaretskaya

I was born and raised in Belarus

I grew up in a suburb of Minsk, a child of two chemists. Chemistry and physics were my first interests, but I also studied arts in high school, before enrolling in Belarusian State University to study international relations and affairs.

In 2014, I moved to Tallinn, Estonia, to continue my education, this time in law and technology, and it was in Tallinn that I really got interested in pursuing entrepreneurship and building a company of my own.

I built my business from scratch

In 2017, I participated in STARTERtech, a startup competition, which I entered without an idea. In the process, an idea appeared, I assembled a team, and won the competition. It really kickstarted my passion for building teams, technologies, and companies, and I found what I truly want to do in life.

Three years later

I’m running two cleantech companies, working with teams that I’ve built, on technologies that I believe in and that will make a positive impact. Today, Laava Tech products are sold in Europe, Asia, the Middle East, and the United States of America.

I love sharing knowledge

I often speak at summits and conferences. In 2021 and 2022, I was a speaker at the Ritossa Family Office Summit, a global investment summit that brings together some of the most interesting and powerful people in the world. The event was organized by Prince Albert II of Monaco

I collect meteorites

I currently have 18 meteorites in my collection, each one of them rare and unique. My biggest passion are pallasites and my goal is to collect specimens of all identified pallasites.

I travel and I learn

I’ve been to more than 50 countries, building a global network of connections. Seeing first hand how different cultures work and interact has given me a much wider perspective of what is important in my professional and personal life, and what are the most important goals to pursue.

In 2022, I was listed as MIT Innovator 35U35

MIT Technology Review's annual award, recognizing the world's top 35 innovators under the age of 35

I'm interested in projects that can offer the world something useful

My projects are related to sustainability and cleantech.

I believe that we can make the world a better, cleaner, and safer place - we have enough knowledge, technology and resources to build a better world for us and the generations to come.

Laava Tech is a hardware project

Think of how many physical products you use daily. Unbelievably, hardware projects receive about 5% of all investments (95% goes to software), because it is much more difficult to build hardware. In addition, there are almost no women among hardware company founders, meaning I often find myself being the only woman at industry events.

I want to change that.

Half of the Laava Tech team
are women

I have the best team possible: many people say so, but I really know so.

I am lucky to work with these people and I am proud that I was able to bring them together
